Dark dense clouds

Preparing to cry

Pain, agony, wrath

Decades long aftermath

Dark clouds all around

Wind brings them together

Wind blows them apart

Patient, tolerating dark long night

A little spark, induction of fight

Life-saver for some

Catastrophic blow for others

Pray for end of this mayhem

or face some more shame

times

Devil's smile, free of cost,

Bad times, a solid affinity,

A moment of happiness,

A conquered war or a serendipity?

I am all dark

Morning sun-shine follows my path,
In afternoon, I face sun's wrath,
Some evenings, I see sun set,
Nights I generally leave to fate

I work in field, raising food,
Any given month, I stand tall
My field's children, let other's survive
Yet, I am all dark
My life is all dark

Mumbai Crowd

I wake up early,
Get ready quickly,
I rush for work,
I run towards local trains,
At times, fighting Mumbai rains,

I prefer hanging on gate,
I am stuck in passage,
or I sit back and enjoy,
I am pushed/pulled by strangers,
I face many dangers,

I am worried about my belongings,
I am listening to songs,
I am reading newspaper,
I am cursing someone,
or I am having plain fun,

I use commuting time for Sleep,
At times, I end up thinking deep,
As train reaches station,
I start finding my way,
Similar story every day,

I get disgusted often,
I hate myself,
For I am the victim,
For I am the crowd,
For I am the crowd.

ps- Yesterday, I was watching "Jab We Met". There was one dialogue stating we hate crowd while being part of crowd - Idea borrowed from movie :-)
