One fine evening,
he was returning home,
her, prepararing grand welcome,
wasn't aware was gonna waste..

casually enjoying ride,
suddenly a blast,
and he became her past;
world looked at site aghast!

her immeasurable loss,
a little compensation,
and fake words of assurance,
meanwhile, terror built a nest!

Govt tried things,
to let people grin,
ground work wasn't sound
vicious circle took over!

Inept politicians,
cared for votes,
wish they knew,
votes are not greater than nation..

Brave security agencies,
restored sense of security
may India unite
may politicians learn a lesson!
